About our windows
The Sleeping Dove Comforter lays on your bed like any traditional comforter but features what we call “windows,” designed so you can instantly adjust warmth at your midsection or feet, without waking up fully or adding extra blankets. These are four openings with flaps, positioned at the top and bottom, two on each sleeper’s side. Each window opens toward the edge of the bed for easy access, even at night. Beneath each window is a sewn-in cotton layer that keeps you gently covered whether the flap is open or closed. To set it up, place the comforter on your bed with the windows facing up and the dove logos at the foot. Center it as you would any comforter, and align the bottom edge of the lower windows with the edge of your mattress for a smooth, finished look. The windows are slightly larger to accommodate the natural form of your body and are carefully sized for both queen and king beds, ideal for couples or solo sleepers alike.
Overheating at your midsection or feet? Just lift a window for instant relief. Want to warm up? Close it. There’s no need to get it closed perfectly back in place. Any coverage adjustment you need to make during the night will come naturally and you’ll instinctively know what to do.

Why it matters. Cooling the right spots helps your body ease into sleep naturally. While most bedding holds onto heat, the Sleeping Dove Comforter releases it exactly where you need. Whether you're looking for relief from hot flashes, night sweats, or just want less pressure on your feet, it gently adapts to you with no gadgets, no extra layers, and no noise. Learn more about the science behind it on our FAQs page.

Craftsmanship and Premium Materials

Naturally Cool and Incredibly Soft
We believe only natural cotton should touch your skin. That’s why our comforter and windows are made from 100% cotton, certified by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 to be free from harmful substances. The breathable sateen weave feels soft and smooth, resists wrinkles, and helps regulate temperature—so you can sleep comfortably and confidently, night after night.

Even Warmth Without Cold Spots
The Sleeping Dove Comforter features premium baffle box construction, a technique that sews internal fabric walls between the top and bottom layers to create individual compartments (or baffles). These keep the fill evenly distributed, preserving uniform warmth, softness, and loft. Unlike mass-produced sewn-through comforters, which suffer from cold spots where insulation is compacted at each seam, baffle box construction ensures consistent insulation throughout. It’s a far more labor-intensive process, especially with our patent-pending window system, because each internal seam must be sewn individually. That’s why our production is limited and careful. But the results speak for themselves: a luxurious, heirloom-quality comforter.

Cloud-Like Warmth, Naturally
High Quality Down Fill
Real down offers an unmatched combination of softness, lightness, loft and warmth. Our comforters are filled with white duck down containing at least 80 percent down cluster, an exceptionally high standard, that creates a lofty, cloud-like feel while staying breathable and light on your body. These large clusters deliver superior insulation and lasting comfort, helping you stay warm without overheating. We use only RDS-certified down, so every comforter is responsibly sourced with animal welfare in mind. The result is a sleep experience that feels effortlessly warm, deeply cozy, and undeniably luxurious.

Soft on You, Kind to the Planet
Superior Down Alternative
Our down alternative comforters use a high-quality fill made from GRS-certified recycled polyester, sourced from post-consumer plastic bottles. Through a careful process of cleaning, melting, and spinning, the plastic is transformed into soft, airy fibers that help reduce waste while minimizing common irritants and allergens. The result is a sustainable, easy-care, hypoallergenic option that delivers outstanding warmth, comfort and durability.
