   Super comfortable

   I received this blanket as a wedding gift and wanted to use it for about a month before leaving a review. My first impressions was wow, even if this blanket didn’t have this cool feature, it would still just be a great blanket to use. It’s super comfortable, nice and light. To be honest with you I use the panels more during the day because I’ve been able to just sleep throughout the whole night!
   
   My wife typically gets hot early in the morning (4-5AM) and before she would just throw all of the blanket to my side which would cause me to get hot and wake up. Now we’re both able to sleep completely through the night and that alone is a win.
   
   My only “complaint” would be that sometimes I get some fuzzies on my shirt the next morning but other than that it’s very comfortable.
   
   Would highly recommend!

   From One hot and one cold sleeper to another

   This is a great blanket. I sleep hotter than my husband (who needs 2 extra blankets sometimes) so it was terrible finding something that works for both of us. We love this blanket. I'm able to open the flaps when I get hot and put it back when I'm cold. The only suggestion I have is to add snaps or some kind of closure on the flaps. I move around a lot at night and the flaps end up open sometimes when I would like them closed. Otherwise I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blanket and highly recommend to any hot and cold sleepers out there!
   And customer service is top notch. I misplaced my mesh washing bag so I reached out to find where I could get another one and they sent me one free! Top Notch company!

   Love this quilt

   I bought a king size thinking it would be better fir the queen size bed, but it hangs off more then planned. If you buy the size meant for your bed it works great and is very comfortable. It fits the king size bed perfect. Great for those hot flashes at night.

   My husband loves sleeping dove!

   The sleeping dove comforter has been a game changer! I can share the bed with my husband once again and we are both comfortable! He keeps his panels open all the time and I open & close mine several times during the night (menopause) without disturbing him.    Great for my pregnant granddaughter

    Great idea but falls short !

    I love the concept of this comforter. Although I feel like there needs to be maybe some light Velcro holding the flaps in place something very easily removable if you do want to move it in the middle of the night. Also, the material that you use for the outside of the comforter is not quite that soft. I was sweating immensely the other night and I needed to lay on top of the comforter rather than underneath it and the material just wasn’t that soft against my skin. It would be great for you to make a higher quality material something that is much softer. This material does not feel like 100% cotton 😩

    We did consider closures. What we kept coming back to is that the panels tend to stay closed on their own: gravity holds them against you, which is the same reason you can lift or lower one with a single hand without fully waking up. And every closure we looked at meant something hard or scratchy against your skin all night — that wasn't a trade we were willing to make.
    
    On the shell: it's high-quality 100% cotton sateen, and it softens quickly with use. We're so glad you decided to keep it, because that's the part you'll notice — it keeps getting softer the more you sleep under it.

    Great optionality

    Amazing!

    I'm very rarely impressed with an item. However the sleeping dove does not disappoint! This product has completely changed my sleep.     Hot flashes!

    You have to sleep with this blanket to understand how amazing it is. The fabric is so soft. The blanket kept us warm even in the Wisconsin winter. The first time I tried the blanket, I woke up with hot flashes. I opened the window and it was instant relief. I felt immensely cool. It’s perfect for me because I can’t turn on the fan as the noise bothers my husband. Any noise will wake him up. We don’t use a sheet under the comforter because we can wash the blanket at home. It took 2 days to dewrinkle and get puffed up. It’s so easy to make the bed. Just try it and you will understand it. It looks beautiful in our bedroom. We love it!

    Solved our issue

    Love love love

    The quilt was soft and provided warmth and coolness where and when I needed it. With two dogs sleeping with me, it’s not easy to “move” my old blanket to my needs.     Well made

    We love this comforter. We packed away all our other blankets, even the fanciest one. This is the only one we use now. It’s so well made and makes it easy to cool off at night. Our chihuahua loves it too. He snuggles under the flap with us at bedtime. During the day he curls up under it for naps. He couldn’t do that with a regular blanket because it was too heavy. But with this comforter, he just nudges the flap up with his nose and slides right in. We are happy customers.

    Not a gimmick. Changed our sleep

    The blanket arrived on Thursday. Friday morning I put it on the bed. When my wife came home from work I explained the blanket to her and she told me it sounded like a gimmick.     Our cats love it too!
