Sleeping Dove will soon introduce our Lightweight Comforter

People are very different when it comes to sleep and bedding. Some are cold sleepers, like I am, and love a warm and cozy layer. Others are like James and sleep hot, preferring something light and airy. And some fall somewhere in the middle, wanting a comforter that feels balanced all year. Add in seasonal weather, and that’s exactly why comforters are often offered in different weights: lightweight, all-season, and heavyweight.

At Sleeping Dove, we launched with our All-Season Comforter because it felt like the best place to begin. It’s designed to work for most people during most of the year. It’s our most versatile option and often a good starting point if you want one comforter that can carry you through a range of temperatures. With the summer ahead and after hearing from customers who live in warmer climates, we decided to develop a lightweight version of our comforter for people who want less insulation and a lighter feel on the body. James and I have been testing different versions and are excited to launch this new option in a couple of months. This type of comforter will be a great choice for warmer seasons and for people who sleep especially hot. You can still open the panels as needed, and whether you sleep alone or with a partner, this lighter weight can help create a more comfortable balance.
